Getting Started
Tap the 'Documents' tab, then tap the '+' button. Choose a document template, fill in the required information, and save. You can also add photos by tapping the camera icon.
Go to Settings → Security and enable 'Require Face ID for Sensitive Data'. Make sure Face ID is set up on your device in iOS Settings first.
KinArchive requires iCloud to sync your documents securely across devices. Make sure you're signed in to iCloud and have enabled iCloud for this app.
Family Sharing
Go to the 'Family' tab, tap 'Add Member', and send them an invitation link. They'll need to install the app and accept the invitation to join your family vault.
View Only: Can see documents but not edit. Edit: Can modify documents. Manage: Can edit documents and manage family members. You can set different permissions for each document.
Open the document, tap the share icon, select family members, set permissions and expiration if needed, then tap 'Share'.
Security & Privacy
All documents are encrypted and stored in your personal iCloud account. We never have access to your documents. Face ID and device authentication provide additional security layers.
Your documents are safely stored in iCloud. Install the app on your new device, sign in with the same Apple ID, and your documents will sync automatically.
Yes! Go to Settings → Security → App PIN to set a custom PIN for additional security when opening the app.
Documents & Organization
Use tags and categories to organize documents. You can filter by tags, search by name, or browse by category in the Documents tab.
KinArchive supports various document types including IDs, insurance policies, medical records, financial documents, and more. You can also create custom templates.
Set expiration dates on documents like IDs or insurance policies. The app will send notifications before they expire. Check the Alerts tab for upcoming expirations.
Troubleshooting
Check your internet connection and ensure iCloud is enabled for KinArchive in iOS Settings → Apple ID → iCloud. Try force-closing and reopening the app.
You can reset your PIN using Face ID or Touch ID authentication. Go to Settings → Security → App PIN and authenticate to set a new PIN.
Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This will permanently remove all your documents and cannot be undone. Make sure to backup important documents first.
